Pokémon UNITE APK is a new project jointly implemented by The Pokémon Company and TiMi Studios of Tencent Games. This is a team strategy game where coaches can team up to fight in 5vs5 battles. With this new mechanism, Pokémon UNITE promises to bring many interesting experiences.

About Pokémon UNITE

Pokémon UNITE is expected to be released for free on the Nintendo Switch platform and mobile devices. Currently, the game is being released Beta version in the Canada region.

Gameplay

In terms of gameplay, Pokémon UNITE is a 5vs5 strategy MOBA game. You will form your own team and take on the opponent’s team. The goal is to beat the Pokemon to score points before the allotted time runs out. Besides, the battle also includes other activities such as catching wild Pokémon, leveling up and evolving your own Pokémon.

Pokémon UNITE offers new gameplay that requires teamwork and strategy. It seems pretty simple at first, but you will get to more complicated aspects as the difficulty increases.

When Pokémon Fight in MOBA Games

Unlike regular Pokemon games, Pokemon in Pokémon UNITECH stay in their base state when the battle begins. When defeating rival Pokemon and wild Pokemon on the map, they gain experience and level up. That helps them unlock new abilities and fighting techniques. This also includes evolution. Charmander can evolve into Charmeleon or Charizard with a new form and much higher strength.

The strategy of the game covers many aspects, depending on how well your teammates play and the Pokemon class. This aspect is quite difficult for me to give advice or tips, but you can get more concrete ideas and perspectives while playing the game.

MOBA Map

The map in Pokémon UNITE is inspired by popular MOBA games like League of Legends. In it, the mini map, the team’s score information and the joystick are located in the 4 corners of the screen.

The difference is that the map in Pokémon UNITE has no towers and no main lane. It looks a lot wilder, and there are wild Pokemon to catch.

The map is divided into two sides, each side has five points, corresponding to the five positions of the team. These points are like targets that need to be defended, should not be approached by the enemy. Otherwise, they will score and win!

Cross-platform game

As mentioned earlier, Pokémon UNITE will be released on Nintendo Switch, Android, and iOS. According to information from the developer, they will provide cross-play. That means players between different platforms can play together. Many argue that this is very interesting, but others think that the battle will be uneven.

Pokemon System

There are more than 20 Pokemon available to play in Pokémon UNITE. You have a chance to fight Alolan Ninetails, Absol, Eldegoss, Pikachu, Cinderace, Blastoise and many more Pokemon. During the gameplay, you can also catch wild Pokemon to fill your collection.

All Pokemon are in their base state while playing. Based on species and class characteristics, they will bring out their full potential by playing in the correct location of the map. This is also something that you learn during the game to find the optimal use for each Pokemon.

Graphics

Graphics are one of the highlights of Pokémon UNITE. It is designed and built on a 3D platform. The colors and details are a perfect blend.
