Why is This Krups Blender So Good?

The blender has a patented motor which is extremely quiet which means it can be used early in the morning or late at night without disturbing the rest of the household or neighbors. Crushing ice is easy, it’s a very quiet function unlike other blenders that are usually pretty noisy.

The stainless steel blades are really powerful as well as being extremely strong. They’re made out of ‘martensitic’ stainless steel which is very resistant and this helps break down all sorts of ingredients so they become a smooth consistency – including ice, frozen fruit, vegetables or herbs. The great thing about the blades is they are dishwasher safe, this means easy cleaning.

The blender’s design is superb. Other blenders have nice designs or maybe a powerful motor, however, they do sometimes fall short in other features. The Krup KB790 out-does all other blenders in every respect. It’s design is brilliant with a great die-cast metal base, it has a huge 60oz capacity that’s made out of thermal shock-resistant glass and the best part is it has a very good tight fitting lid that locks into place easily and conveniently.

The technology behind the Krups KB790 is outstanding. The blender automatically shuts off should it jam which prevents the motor from burning out. The pitcher is large so it’s a great family blender in which large quantities of soups, smoothies or juices can be made in one single go. The strong shock-resistant pitcher looks wonderful, stays fresh and is easy to keep clean. This means no ‘bad smells’. The Krups starts blending slowly, gradually building up speed, so there’s no chance of making a mess. It has a superb innovative feature of a locking pitcher base. This means the blender can be turned upside down in order to remove the base. Every single part of the appliance is dishwasher safe, with the exception of the motor.

The blender offers users lots of options with it’s 5 speed settings. You can create the texture you want and there’s one specific setting for ice crushing. There’s a variable pulse mode on each of the 5 settings. The balance of the appliance is perfect which enables it to chop and juice all kinds of ingredients easily and efficiently. There’s also 7 programmes for users to choose from.

What Are the Downsides of the Krups Blender KB790?

The blender is superb and therefore expensive to buy, but you get what you pay for and in this case, you get a very good, very quiet blender that does it’s job incredibly well. Having said this, the Krups KB790 is not as expensive as some of the other high-end appliances on the market (such as the Blendtec Blender). The appliance doesn’t come with any of the fun accessories that other blenders have in their packages. But the quality and power this blender offers you, is better than any others around. Anyone looking for a budget blender might find this one a little out of their reach.

The Krups is not the easiest blender to use simply because there’s a lot of literature to get through and there are a lot of functions to read about. Some users may have problems with the digital control panels because it is not as straightforward as it would appear. The 5 speed settings and the 7 programmes take a bit of getting used to – but once you learn them, they are great, you’ll soon realise how good all these options are and you have them at your fingertips.

Is the Krups Blender Good Value For Money?

The great part about this appliance is nobody using it has needs to be a master chef. The Krups KB790 is a great blender for any modern day kitchen and lets you effortlessly create wonderful juices, soups, smoothies or anything else you want to prepare. It looks very attractive on a counter-top.

The biggest plus for the Krups KB790 is it is such an incredibly quiet blender, all due to it’s patented noise reduction motor technology. It’s a very powerful machine that has a generous capacity pitcher. In fact, it is so good and nice to use, you’ll find yourself making up excuses to blend something for the fun of it.
