The Past Within codes (Update) - 11/2022

Note: The Past Inside is a co-op only game. Both players must have a copy of the game on their own device (phone, tablet or computer), as well as a way to communicate with each other. Play with friends or find a match on our official Discord server!

The past and the future cannot be discovered alone! Team up with a friend and discover the mystery surrounding Albert Vanderboom together. Communicate what you see around you to help each other solve different puzzles and explore the world from a different perspective!

The Past Inside is the first cooperative point-and-click adventure set in the mysterious world of Rusty Lake.

Collaborative experience
Play with friends, one in the Past, the other in the Future. Work together to solve puzzles and help Rose carry out her father’s plans!
Two Worlds – Two Perspectives
Both players will experience their environment in two different dimensions: 2D and 3D – a first in the Rusty Lake universe!

As long as you can communicate with each other, you and your partner of choice can play The Past Inside on your favorite platforms: PC, Mac, iOS, Android and (soon) Nintendo Switch!
Playtime & Replayability
The game consists of 2 chapters and has an average playing time of 2 hours. For the full experience, we recommend replaying the game from a different perspective. You can also use our replay feature to get a fresh start with new solutions to all puzzles.
