Codes won’t carry you. But a free stamina refill before a tournament push, or hero shards when you’re stuck grinding the same tier, makes a real difference early on. New players benefit most — that window between starting and hitting the first resource bottleneck is exactly when codes do their actual work.

When codes are available, they typically give: gems (premium currency), gold, stamina refills, hero shards, and upgrade materials. Rewards vary significantly by code, so the specific haul per code will be listed here as they’re verified.
How to Redeem Legions War Codes
- Open Legions War on your device.
- Tap your Player Avatar or Profile in the top corner.
- Navigate to Settings.
- Select Redemption Center (sometimes labeled Gift Code or Enter Code depending on your version).
- Paste the code exactly as written.
- Tap Confirm — rewards go to your in-game mailbox.
Copy-paste is worth the extra second. Mobile keyboards have a habit of autocorrecting capital letters in code strings, which breaks everything.
When Codes Don’t Work
The most common reason is expiration. Legions War codes tied to events — tournaments, patch milestones, holiday drops — have tight windows. Some go inactive within 24–48 hours of being posted. If a code worked for someone else yesterday and isn’t working now, that’s probably what happened.
Some codes carry redemption caps. A limited number of players can claim them, after which the code stops working for everyone — not just latecomers. There’s no way to tell from the outside whether a cap has been hit, which is why redeeming quickly matters.
Region restrictions apply to certain promo codes, particularly ones released through regional partner events or holiday promotions specific to certain markets. If you’re getting an “invalid” error on a code that’s supposedly active, this is worth considering.
Typos are still responsible for a surprising number of failed redemptions. The characters O/0 and I/1 are the usual culprits. If you’re typing manually, check those specifically before assuming the code is dead.
Account-level requirements exist on some codes — a minimum level before the system registers the redemption. If you’re brand new, a handful of codes may simply not activate until you’ve progressed further.
