Magic Spellslingers was Wizards of the Coast’s attempt at a fast-paced digital card battler built around Magic: The Gathering planeswalkers like Chandra, Vraska, and a handful of others. It had a decent launch window and a small but dedicated following — people liked the concept. The problem is, it’s been gone since June 4, 2024. The servers shut down for good that day, and the game is no longer playable on any platform.
So if you’re here looking for active codes to redeem, there’s nothing to redeem them in. I’m not going to fill this page with old codes or pretend there’s something worth claiming. That’d be a waste of your time.

What Happened to Magic Spellslingers?
Wizards of the Coast announced the shutdown on March 6, 2024. In-app purchases were cut off that same day, and the servers ran until noon Pacific on June 4, 2024. The official statement cited the end of the journey with gratitude — which is the polite way of saying the player count and revenue weren’t enough to keep things going.
There was at least one decent parting gift: players with accounts created before March 6 could link to MTG Arena and claim 1,500 gems. That window has obviously long closed, but it was a reasonable move at the time.

Nowhere — the game doesn’t exist anymore. If you’re looking for the MTG Arena codes page, that’s a separate game (still live) and worth bookmarking for pack codes tied to physical product releases.
What to Play Instead
If you liked Spellslingers for the Magic IP and card-battler format, MTG Arena is the obvious next stop. It’s the main digital Magic client, it’s free to start, and it gets regular code drops tied to set releases and events. The gameplay is more traditional Magic rather than Spellslingers’ streamlined hero-based format, but it’s deep and actively supported.
For something closer to Spellslingers’ quick-match energy, Legends of Runeterra and Marvel Snap are both worth a look — different universes, similar “fast digital card game” DNA.
