The unit is ideal for humidifying and keeping the air moist in middle-sized rooms such as nurseries, bedrooms and office spaces that measure about 200 square feet. However, a single unit is not enough to humidify larger spaces like the sitting room or the kitchen.

Although it seems a bit smaller compared to other humidifiers, this unit and its 1.5-liter water tank capacity is enough to spray cool mist for a continuous period of 16 hours on the lowest setting.

Disadvantages:

One of the biggest complaints about the Pure Enrichment humidifier is the leaking. A lot of users have reported refilling the water tank only to discover it has cracks which only get bigger over time.

Unlike other humidifiers, this brand only has two mist output settings: high and low, both of which can be extreme.

When it is set on low, the mist is not enough to cover the area; set on high, the mist tends to cause wetness around the unit.There is no medium output, which could have made a huge difference.

The unit comes with only one button for all the settings: low, low with backlight, high, and high with backlight. Once you turn it on and you want to set the output to high and use the night light as well, you have to work the button four times.

This would have been okay, if the motion  or heat sensor controlled button did not come with loud beeps that could wake up a light sleeper. You must also be very careful not to reach over in front of the button as you can trigger the setting to change (and the loud beeping).

The night light, though beneficial for some, may not be to the liking of users who like sleeping in the dark. The humidifier is also lightweight and can easily be knocked over, so you must be careful to keep it out of children’s reach.

As with other humidifiers, hard water can cause buildup in the humidifier. Therefore, you must use distilled water or filter the water you will put in the tank beforehand.

Verdict:

The pros and cons seem to be tied up, so the only thing to do is to try the humidifier and hope that you do not get a defective unit. Otherwise, the manufacturer would be happy to refund or replace the unit as long as it is under warranty.
