About Kingdom Rush Origins

Kingdom Rush first appeared on the game website and accidentally achieved a lot of success thanks to its tactical gameplay, as well as the richness in construction. Gameplay

Without too many differences, Kingdom Rush Origins leads players to defend the castle by placing defensive towers in strategic locations. Use gold to upgrade your towers into more powerful units, with unique abilities. The game will give you 4 main towers: Archers with extremely good speed and attack range. Barrack trains 3 types of soldiers so that they become shields for teammates, stopping enemies. The Mage Tower has the ability to cast unique spells and the ability to penetrate enemies. The stone circle deals massive damage, effective for killing multiple weak enemies at once.

In addition, you also get 2 free skills and 1 skill of the champion you are using. The 2 skills you have when entering the game are reinforcements and thunder. With “reinforcements”, you will have the right to call a small number of troops, equipped with powerful weapons to fight and hold back the enemy. With “thunder”, you will summon powerful lightning waves that continuously deal damage to multiple enemies in range. Both skills are free to use but have a long cooldown, so you need to know when to use them properly.

Levels

Kingdom Rush Origins has a total of 15 main levels, after beating level 15 you will do elite quests to better understand the game. Each level includes 3 modes. Mode 1 is the basic mode, sticking to the plot and not much change. 2 vs 3 mode is a challenge mode, higher difficulty for those who like challenges.

One thing I really like is that the level system doesn’t allow players to “cheat”. You can use the upgrades from your gold star, but the defense tower will not be used at that level until you have reached the required level. For example, you play level 4 to unlock Arcane Archer. Although you own this tower, you cannot use it until you reach level 4. This makes the game a bit more balanced and prevents the game from ending too quickly.

Shop

The shop in Kingdom Rush Origins provides us with heroes and powers. For heroes, in addition to the default 5 heroes, you can also spend money to buy other heroes, with different stats, skills, and interactions. But in my personal opinion, no hero is the strongest, and default heroes can be useful if used. If you intend to buy a new hero, consider it.

In terms of power, in the game you will have a total of 6. They are purchased with diamonds. You can collect through quests. After each level, you are given a diamond. Defeating strong monsters (elite monsters) also have a chance to drop diamonds. I will further analyze these powers for you:

• Wrath of Elynie: When cast, creates a wave of green energy, dealing massive damage to all enemies on the map. Useful when killing a bunch of monsters that you can’t do alone.

• Rod of Dragon Fire: Set up a defensive tower, which will throw a fireball at an enemy, dealing real damage. It can target enemies in the air.

• Horn of Heroism: has a small area of ​​influence. When used, all troops and structures in the affected area are immune to damage and your troops deal double damage. The combination is very good when there are heroes, barracks and aid soldiers in your area.

• Teleport: Select a small area, and after a short time, teleport the enemy to a short distance. Useful when strong monsters attack your house. Use it for more time.

• Hand of Midas: When used, you will double the gold and diamonds collected for about 15 seconds. Combines very well with Elynie’s Wrath, because the amount of gold you collect is huge, and the enemies are completely blown away.

• Gem of Timewrap: Same as Teleport Scroll, but works on the entire map.

Encyclopedia

Do not get me wrong! I don’t say Wikipedia. In Kingdom Rush Origins, there is a book called Encyclopedia, which contains all the information about heroes, monsters, spells and even strategy videos on the homepage of Kingdom Rush Origins. Going through, as well as analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of each unit will be very helpful in the following levels. You will have more decisions about the placement of towers, choosing the type of house to deal with nasty enemies… You can find all the tips in this book. This is a huge plus for the game as I rarely see similar mechanics in other games.

Some tips

Although my article has said nearly 40% of the information in the game, I still would like to share in-game tips so that you can easily defeat the enemy and overcome the final boss:

• Usually Archer is the unit with the strongest damage ability, as well as having a stable amount of DPS throughout the game, so this house is my priority to place near the front line, where the enemy appears.
• The Mage Tower shoots very slowly but has the ability to penetrate armor, later upgrades will make the Mage very strong. I recommend placing them after Archer but before Barrack.
• Barrack is a defensive unit. Although there are only 3 people, but the endurance is very good, able to hold off the elite monster until the end. Normally, I would place this tower in the center, close to the Archer and Mage towers to keep enemies at bay.
• Stone Circle deals moderate damage, but has good splash damage, which is useful for killing many weak monsters that gather together. I recommend building this house near Barrack, or next to Mage. Mage Spell combined with Barrack can deal massive damage to multiple enemies.
• Skills don’t consume your resources, so use them as often as you can. Especially when fighting strong monsters in the early levels.
• Hero’s Ultimate can still be used, even after death. Take advantage of this.

Kingdom Rush Origins is an excellent game by Ironhide. The plot is a precursor to Kingdom Rush, but not because of that the game is older.
