The Firefly produces great vapor and vapor density. In fact, it’s some of the best that we’ve tested. The only thing that we don’t like about it is that it’s a little clunky. It weighs quite a bit and it’s not as discreet as the Pax 2 or MFLB.

The Firefly is one of the top portable vapes currently on the market. It produces phenomenal vapor quality and density at an affordable price. It performs better than a lot of vapes that are more expensive than it, which is why we rank it so highly on this website. At a price tag of $270 currently, it is just below the Pax 2 and substantially lower than the Crafty + Mighty vapes.
Currently it is my third favorite portable vaporizer. However, it is SUPER close with the #1 and #2.
Almost Instant Heat Up Time
One thing really worth noting is that it is an instant heat up time. This is one of the main advantages of this vape. Almost all vapes out right now do not have instant heat up time. The ones that have been released within the last year are mostly at 30 seconds. One big advantage to this is that you don’t have near as much bud wasted when the unit is pre-heating.
Battery Life
You’re going to get about 40-70 minutes of continual use on one battery charge. It takes about 40-50 minutes to recharge that battery, which is phenomenal.
Maintenance
You really don’t have to do much maintenance on this unit. You’re going to occasionally have to clean the screen and change it after some heavy usage. The unit is a lot easier to maintain then pretty much all the other portable vapes out there.
Things I Don’t Like About It
The Size
It can fit in your pocket nicely if you have some bigger sized pockets. However, it’s a little bit clunky to me. It also weights a lot more than you’d expect.
Not as Discreet
It’s kind of big and you are not able to palm it. This makes it not near as discreet as you’d think from looking at it in the picture.
Other Vapes to Consider
If you’re thinking about purchasing the Firefly, there are a couple other vapes that you should consider. Not that I think you’d be making a bad choice with the Firefly, but it’s really what you want to do with it.
The first you should ask yourself, is do you want a portable vape?
The Pax 2
If you want a smaller and more discreet vaporizer, the Pax is the way to go. It’s the smallest and most discreet vape. It also has above average vapor quality. It is only $20 more than the Firefly.
The Crafty
My personal favorite portable on the market right now. It’s a tad bit bigger, but I like the unit better because I believe the vapor quality is just a tad bit better. I also prefer the mouthpiece.
